Nau, the in-house label of Cult, have released their latest collection designed by four of Australia’s leading creatives –  Adam Goodrum, Kate Stokes, Adam Cornish and Tom Fereday.

The versatile furniture and lighting collection responds to the emerging challenges and desires of the past two years. Products are suitable for both residential and commercial settings, from a locally crafted flat-pack furniture series, to the label’s first comprehensive outdoor range, all of which are made in Australia.

Melbourne-based designer Adam Cornish is behind all outdoor pieces in the new and expanded Terrace, Yuki and Strand ranges. Terrace is a particular standout, characterised by graphic lines, subtle curves and a clean visual language, resulting in an outdoor seating series as comfortable as it is functional. Yuki meanwhile is inspired by the perfect proportions of the Japanese shoji screen, forming an exceptionally comfortable outdoor sofa and armchair.

Tom Fereday has designed the Nami (meaning ‘wave’ in Japanese) range – a furniture collection named after its signature timber profile that seamlessly flows into adjoining components. Handcrafted in NSW, products include the Nami table and bed collections, which are solid timber, yet are designed as flat-packed components for self-assembly!

Broad is Nau’s new lighting pendant designed by Kate Stokes. Named after its distinctive scale and slimline silhouette, the pendant is a classic yet contemporary style, available in multiple colours and lengths to add intimacy to any space.

Last but not least, Adam Goodrum has designed several new products across the Harbour and Softply collections, as well as the Don chair and Rib table. From the structural bows crafted from solid timber, to the leather strapping that is latticed by hand, Harbour in particular is an homage to craftsmanship. The bed’s hand woven paper cord frame – a nod to Scandinavian craft traditions of the ‘50s and ‘60s – creates a sculptural silhouette that is inviting and supportive.

All Nau 2021 products are available to order now, adding to the label’s ever growing range!
