This year over 100 entries was submitted to the WA Architecture Awards, which celebrate ‘excellence in design and construction’ across the state.

The winners will be announced on Friday June 28 at the Opus Stadium – an appropriate choice as the 2018 winner of the George Temple Poole Award, the highest accolade in the WA Architecture Awards!

While the esteemed panel of jurors deliberate on their final decisions, take a scroll through these impressive highlights! Unsurprisingly for a warm climate location, there is no shortage of airy, indoor-outdoor designed residences, with careful consideration of the fall of natural light. So many sharp angles, generous windows and strong lines among these contenders.

Find out more about the 2019 WA Architecture Awards here, where you can also book tickets for the awards gala and the exhibition.
